Schools Visits and Fundraising for Charity

In 1977 Nabs moved to Bahrain and started at the school St Christopher's. In 2009, after walking to the North Pole, he visited the students at St Christopher's to talk about his experiences. Inspired by his stories, the students organised a fundraiser for charity.

One week before Nabs went to climb Everest, the school held a sponsored climb of Everest. As seen in the video, 120 students spent 30 minutes stepping up benches 29,000 times in total, equivalent to the height of Everest at 29,000 feet.

In the space of 30 minutes organised activity, the class managed to raise around US$15,000! This formed the basis of an idea that was further inspired by Major Phil Packer, who went to school with Nabs in the UK during the 1980's. Phil Packer managed to raise £1,000,000 for charity, and so Nabs decided to visit 100 schools around the GCC to try and raise $1,000,000 for charity.

Nabs realised that if one school can do so much, imagine what 100 schools could do for those less fortunate! If you want your school to be involved in this worthwhile charity event contact him now.

THE GOAL IS TO RAISE $1 MILLION FOR CHARITY – BE PART OF THIS TODAY!
